Join us to celebrate the Desert Festival of Jaisalmer in the month of February 2021 and discover the colour, sounds and flavours of Rajasthan and enjoy a stay at the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel! We start in Delhi, where the hustle and bustle of modern India stands in stark contrast to the old world of Mughal forts, historical temples and palatial gardens. Travel to Agra, as no trip to India is complete without a sunrise visit to the world’s grandest monument to love – the Taj Mahal. Journey through Rajasthan, the ‘Land of Great Kingdoms’, to explore the palaces of the Maharajahs in Udaipur, Jodphur and Jaisalmer before spending a night under the stars in the Thar desert.

Celebration of Desert Festival at Jaisalmer

Desert Festival of Jaisalmer is a colorful festival held in February every year. You will get to see Cultural events, camel races, turban tying competitions etc. Not exciting enough! Attend the contests to judge the man with the best moustache. Everything is exotic in the Desert festival, amidst the golden sands of the Thar Desert. With a final musical performance by folk singers under the moonlit sky at the dunes in Sam, just outside Jaisalmer, the festival comes to its end. The rich culture of the region is on display during this three daylong extravaganza.
