Drive to Khempur
After an early breakfast leave for Khempur (approximately 6-7 hours) your next destination. This is where “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel”, the film was shot in tonight’s hotel The Khempur Ravala. Overnight Khempur.
Driving through the Thar Desert you will witness desert life of villagers dressed in colourful clothes herding animals and desert scenery as you drive through the desert. Arrive mid afternoon and check into your hotel. Relax in the evening with traditional Rajasthani cuisine.
Today is for relaxation – to write, reflect on your adventure. The hotel, Ravla Khempur exudes historical ambience. The lofty terraces, open courtyards, sprawling gardens, canopied balconies, stables and horses transport us back in time. The Ravla Khempur has a passionate history that dates back to 1628 AD. Take time to stroll through this small village and sampling some of local life and reflect on your favourite scenes from the move.
Drive to Udaipur
Udaipur After breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Udaipur (50 Km – 1 ½ hours approximately). Arrive Udaipur and check in at the Guest House on the Ghats . We take a tour visiting the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Jag Mandir, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal and Sahelion Ki Bari followed by boat ride on Lake Pichola (subject to the water level).
Udaipur to Delhi
In Udaipur. Spend morning last minute shopping or taking in the beauty of this lovely city. Transfer early afternoon to the airport in time to connect your onward flight Delhi. Rest of the afternoon in Delhi.
Your tour ends after breakfast, time to bid India farewell. Transfer to the international airport or for your onward journey.
